I love it when the reviewers really GET the paper, what we are trying to do and why it is important!

@ toto: well, clearly the reviewers were not the right ones to review your paper, then. Sorry to hear about that, but it’ll get published, I’m very sure.

I told you….throw in the part about having the yoga instructor keep you after class and Penthouse Letters would be all over your submission. You’re welcome.

@ DM: my first comment was meant to be taken sarcastically, as if it would be something that a BSD would say. 🙂 Sorry that the sarcasm got lost on everyone. I’ll try to better differentiate my sarcastic comments in the future.

On another note, I do believe that there are such things as “wrong reviewers.”

Yes, DM. There are reviewers who are clearly incapable of the task (for one reason or another). Sometimes, I wonder why some reviewers even take on the assignment of reviewing papers when they are clearly not giving the paper the time/consideration they should or are not focusing their comments on the actual topic of the paper (comments are out of scope with paper). I’m not saying that all papers should be appreciated by reviewers or that all papers are worthy of review. It’s just that there have been a few instances when I’ve seen reviews submitted for a paper (where I’m one of the reviewers), and there is a reviewer who probably had no business reviewing the paper, judging by their comments.
