First there was this lovely* gentleman from a Trump rally in Florida:

Then there was the guy (h/t @neuromusic) who you would think was just a garden variety dimwit who doesn’t understand the law and hates cyclists. Until he gets to the part where he threatens to “pull a Trump on you”. I don’t think he was talking about scamming this poor cyclist out of a real estate investment and filing Chapter 11 to walk off with the money either, but I’m sure our conservative commenter friends BV and N-c will be right along to explain how this was a joke. Or that it is a complete coincidence that out of control, raging violent homophobic road rage jerks reference Trump.

We should be thanking The Donald. He’s demonstrating how ridiculous the GOP has become for all to see. If having that guy doesn’t make the rank-and-file conservatives look in shame at what they’ve been doing for the last 30+ years and decide they’ve gone too far, nothing will. Even if the GOP doesn’t change because of Trump (which they probably won’t), he’s provided YEARS of awesome fodder for anti-republican political ads. Like the phoenix, the GOP is bursting into flames at the end of it’s life, and hopefully what emerges from the red ashes will be a party that is actually willing to govern and not just be a bunch of tools.

One of the criticism of USA people is the use of the term ‘american’ as a demonym (in reference to people of a given origin). Because the whole continent is named America, with 3 subdivisions, so I always use the reference point of North, Central, and South in front of it. That should be inclusive of the indians from each location.
But I found in the internet that some people consider there are actual legal and constitutional differences between USA and US (do a search for Act of 1871). And since the “A” stands for America I wonder if that is the reason for most of the arguments, since the implications would extend to territory and independence, and to the validity of a nation or a republic, and all laws, money issues, maybe even produce since that stated legal transition took place.
So what do you think is going on? is it worth it to clarify that or better to officially divide the country and assign different governments to, say, 4 regions?

Yelling traitor at the person NOT waving the confederate flag demonstrates impaired cognitive function but does provide delicious irony which, alas, is only obvious to traitorous elites and/or lamestream media types.
I once had a driver pull up next to me at a stoplight and wind down his window the better to curse me loudly as a fucking feminist cunt for having gone the speed limit through the previous half-mile one-lane notorious speed-trap zone. Nothing on my car identified me as feminist, other than being a short-haired female driving a Subaru and going the speed limit. People have been doing rage-vent-profiling for some time, Trump now gives them a new banner to fly it under and new permission to be more openly aggressive and threatening about it. Whether he wins or loses – and loses could in some ways make it worse – this is not going to end well, if leaders in the GOP can’t or won’t stand up and say this is wrong and unacceptable. As they have shown no signs of doing much of that so far, I am not hopeful. Trump is leading a demographic that feels an existential threat, and he’s amplifying their threat level. They need to kill someone – or several someones – to make the threat stop hurting, except it won’t.

Were you kidding about this? I can’t believe you were seriously worked up over these media-manufactured talking points. But let’s see if I can amuse you nevertheless.
1st is best summed up as “old man yells at cloud” but to expand on that, a senior citizen is annoyed by the gang of smug millenials who are becoming obvious with their lying and biased coverage about a favored candidate. Sure, yelling at kids isn’t great, but then again neither is (as is their wont) immediately posting pictures to whine on social media.
2nd could go either way; possibly sincere supporter, but also possibly (literally) false flag–like the kids who show up with “KKK supports Trump” shirts. Assuming the former, while I imagine your readership immediately identifies this as a proud declaration of racism, it is also considered an expression of cultural heritage by some–unfortunately the heritage most disparaged by the coastal elite. Personally I’m more offended at flying a Mexican flag at an American political rally, since the Southern flag is still an American flag. I sense DM feels differently on this point.
3rd is typical blame-the-candidate-for-their-supporters nonsense.
Finally, I’ll let Trump speak for himself:“We will reject bigotry and hatred and oppression in all its forms, and seek a new future built on our common culture and values as one American people. “ Seems pretty clear to me.

That’s what I get for trying to go point by point, I suppose! And here I was so happy to make a “friend”.
The lengths are “absurd” because you will refuse to acknowledge your own biases: eg “Confirmation bias, also called confirmatory bias or myside bias, is the tendency to search for, interpret, favor, and recall information in a way that confirms one’s preexisting beliefs or hypotheses, while giving disproportionately less consideration to alternative possibilities.” You look for evidence that Trump = monster and fit anything he (or evidently, anyone) says to confirm that. I don’t. One can only wonder what kind of science is produced in laboratories in which the PI looks for the “correct” answer and dismisses data that doesn’t support it. No wait, we don’t, we see that all the time.
I should note that “conservative” is a passe term nowadays. The cool kids are part of the “Alt-right” FYI.

Last I checked, Mexico is in the same North America continent that the United States inhabits. Also the one the traitorous Confederacy tried to inhabit. So your rationale is laughable on that score.
If you are using “American” to mean “USian” then this is obviously false since the whole point of that flag was to stoke violent traitorous insurrection against the United States of America for the sole purpose of maintaining human enslavement. So, it is not a “Southern flag” if by that you mean a legitimate regional banner of the Southern part of the United States of America. It is one of the battle flags of the Confederacy, which doesn’t exist anymore.
