Second, in typical Trump fashion he doesn’t seem to know how the constitution works or how it can be modified. Finally, why are people choosing a president based on a domestic legal issue anyway?
I am perversely glad that Trump decided to run. He’s like a societal diagnostic. I would have bet my house that he wouldn’t get the nomination or poll as well as he is. I didn’t realize that our country was so sick. Trump’s success is a serious wake-up call.

“If she gets to pick her judges ― nothing you can do, folks,” he said. “Although, the Second Amendment people. Maybe there is. I don’t know.”
So this is conditioned upon ‘if she gets to’, meaning she’s won the election. And suggesting that “the Second Amendment people” could maybe do something. Again, conditioning upon Hillary having won the presidency. Keep in mind we are already seeing a Senate that refused to act on a nominee so he doesn’t need to refer to “second amendment people” for that option. Keeping in mind he’s talking to Republicans so specifying a subset of said population also means something.
So…what is your interpretation?

Y’know, it might actually be true that he was joking, or that he was alluding to a legitimate political action, or that he didn’t entirely know what he meant at the moment the words escaped his mouth. He could have just screwed up.
But, but: Presidential candidates can’t joke like that, just like average folks can’t joke about bombs while standing in the TSA line. Former CIA director Michael Hayden put it best: That as a candidate, “You aren’t just responsible for what you say; you’re responsible for what people hear”.

Nor is there anything remotely comparable about being horrified by an assassination comment from a candidate and a misuse of a private email server.
Similar violent rhetoric got Yitzhak Rabin assassinated, so it’s not outside the realm of possibility that something similar could happen here. Fire up the sheep, and sometimes one goes rabid.

It’s clear that your male-privileged rights are not at stake. Equal pay for all, pro-choice, access to health care matters to women and really, everyone else. I have a dark sense of humor. Very dark. This does not surprise me from Trump (indeed, I’m sure the bowels of the internet have dozens or hundreds of 2nd amendment “solutions” proposed for various political “obstacles”).

I can’t help but marvel in amazement at what Trump can continually get away with saying. I find it fascinating that Hillary is the straight out liar yet Trump has lied just as much. And his support for the common worker is so strong that his casino employees have been on strike for weeks wanting their retirement and healthcare not to change. But as I keep hearing, he speaks the “truth” and says things many others want to hear and say themselves. And we cannot ignore that there are citizens that do want to throw out all Muslims, build a wall at the border, stop giving aid to other countries, etc. It is the ultimate reality show.
Sometimes I just think he will one day stand up and say, “I only did all of this to prove to you what a farce the American political process has become.”
N-c, it’s absurd to think that at least some of Trump’s supporters didn’t hear the insinuation of assassination. Especially since “kill her!” and other forms of violent rhetoric are often heard shouted at Trump’s rallies… Humor normalizes thoughts, and even if this is a joke, it is normalizing the talk of threatening a political figure/woman/fellow American with death and violence in public. This is despicable. I keep thinking we’ve hit rockbottom and keep being shown how Trump knows how to bring the worst out of everyone.
The truly scary thing is that Trump has now proven that this anti-immigrant, only-I-can-save-you strategy is *extremely effective* in attracting voters.
The next time a demagogue runs, it will be someone smarter, with better self-control- and he may well win.

But what is most puzzling is that people don’t notice that, and when actions are taken it just does no good. The natural borders for harmony are broken?
Do you think that that is due to a very diverse population, or to a diverse way of living, or diverse mentality, or to the historical record as it has been known and now being revised?
So, are the current elections illustrating the “american way”? what is meant by the american way?
There are problems everywhere, we need actual solutions, as in the dictionary, even for politics.
