A simple primer for those new to behavioral science assays
June 22, 2016
1) Behavior is plural
2) No behavioral assay is a simple readout of the function of your favorite nucleus, neuronal subpopulation, receptor subtype, intracellular protein or gene.

“Those are behaviors that are inappropriate.”
So drop the “s” from behaviors because it’s already plural as behavior.

“No behavioral assay is a simple readout of the function of your favorite nucleus”
Please keep this a secret. The more people know about this, the harder it’s going to be for me to reject grants and papers.
