Can someone explain why the U.S. is wasting a single penny going after corruption in futbol? Nobody gives a fig about soccer in this country. Let the UK or Germans or someone go after these people.

Stupid CV Tricks: Is a job talk an invited seminar?

My esteemed colleague says no:

Lists job talks as invited presentations #CVredflag or, maybe this is a #CVpetpeeve

My view is that a job talk is more prestigious than a mere invited seminar due to the focal competition and review.

So sure, put those down in the same CV category as non-job-talk seminar invitations.
