Poll of the day

September 24, 2014

If some throwaway sentence in the Aims page draft I’m looking over for PhysioProffe stimulates my curiosity about a cool model then he is obligated to throw a least a postdoc year at the topic, correct?

And at least 20% of your effort. But if he sends you the model, he gets half your grant.

1- Bribe the post-doc to work on it anyway. Make all kinds of crazy promises, money, sex, unicorns, world peace – or even crazier, stable employment (some folks really are that gullible).

2- When CP fires post-doc, take him/her in your lab on a volunteer basis “until some funding crops up”.

    3- ???

    4- Publish!

All I know is, Monkey, you take a sabbatical in PP’s lab for a year…we get a post-docs you’ve tortured on the interweb to assist, and we’ve got reality TV heaven.
