Kudos to Senator McCain
July 19, 2012
From the WaPo:
“Ultimately, what is at stake in this matter is larger even than the reputation of one person. This is about who we are as a nation, and who we still aspire to be. What makes America exceptional among the countries of the world is that we are bound together as citizens not by blood or class, not by sect or ethnicity, but by a set of enduring, universal, and equal rights that are the foundation of our constitution, our laws, our citizenry, and our identity. When anyone, not least a member of Congress, launches specious and degrading attacks against fellow Americans on the basis of nothing more than fear of who they are and ignorance of what they stand for, it defames the spirit of our nation, and we all grow poorer because of it.”

Would one be correct in surmising that the ancestors of the blog entry’s author were displaced from their homeland by one Titus Flavius Vespasianus ?

I’m trying to think of a more roundabout way to say “Jew”, but I’m at a loss.

Oh, and as to how this post would’ve elicited such exceptionally oblique racial speculation … also no idea.

Well those that accused her typically resort to fearmongering as their first tool to get their agenda across. I wonder if any of them shouldn’t have their family trees investigated to see if their relatives belong to the KKK or any type of radical separatist groups? You know since they fear for our national security.

Why give kudos to McCain? Bachmann is a troll, and McCain just took the bait, providing more publicity to what is essentially a non-event.

I have come to respect McCain a lot more as a Republican in the last few years. These days he looks outright fucken moderate compared to some of nut jobs in Washington.

Whereas, I’m grateful to McCain for this gem:
McCain said he had no issue with Mitt’s tax returns when vetting him for veep in 2008. But then he added, “We just thought Sarah Palin was a better candidate.”
Heh heh.

I saw his interview on CNN last night and he definitely knows something about Romeister’s tax returns.

Fucke McCain. He had no problem exploiting racial and religious arousal when he thought it would help him win the Presidency. The only reason he gives a shitte about this now is that he’s started setting himself up for his grandly remunerative retirement as a “centrist Republican” and because he is a megalomaniac and is trying to burnish his reputation for “history”.

Perhaps so CPP, but he said it. And I approve of this part I’ve quoted.

How about giving kudos to the people who have been calling out this shitte since fucken forever, instead of some opportunistic hypocritical fuckebagge who is just tacking with the prevailing winds?
