Entertain me

October 27, 2009

The person who posts a link to a blog related to substance abuse or publicly funded science careers that 1) I have not seen before* and 2) that most amuses me by the end of the day wins a Reader Appreciation Prize. Reference to your own blog counts.
that is all.

Does a blog about marijuana use count?
(Disclaimer: I don’t use pot. I often find it funny, though, to watch those who do who are completely baked out of their sanity. )

You’ve probably seen it before, and it’s not a blog, but you made me think of Mouse Party http://tinyurl.com/5488bd , which I always get a kick out of.

  6. Alright, well I was pretty entertained by this. Although it may appear as if substance abuse had occurred, there is just some tickling going on. Nonetheless, I laughed my ass off.

  7. Since you haven’t defined the type of substance abuse, I’m going to assume that includes Doritos. See my entry here. I didn’t write this but it’s an accurate reflection of my life (except the bit about the husband). Trust me – this is very sane behavior. And I can stop whenever I like. I just choose not to.
Email me and I’ll let you know where to send the prize.

“The Discovering Alcoholic is a top rated recovery blog covering alcoholism, substance abuse, treatment and recovery issues.”
Timely and hip – loved his series on best recovery-themed music (my personal fave is John Hiatt)
Plus, he asked for permission to crosspost my eulogy for my alcoholic father (Dear Dad, With Love); hence, TDA has most excellent blog taste.
