SfN07: Our weather sucks here

Apropos of starting to bear down on some social obligations for the Society for Neuroscience Annual meeting I’m reminded of something. Might be useful for those of you who think SD is an unrelenting paradise. Our weather is terrible.
Well, not terrible. The point is that the Convention Center is on the water and you will be doing much hanging out in bars and restaurants in the downtown area. The Gaslamp and whatnot. Nice patio dining all around and then you’ll want to stroll around a bit.
Well, it gets cold at night. So you’ll need a pullover, sweater or sweatshirt if informal, a jacket if more formally dressed.

The only people wearing “jackets” at SfN are psychiatrists and drug salesmen.
